Friday, my mom and I had a date at the local diner with Dawn and finally started teaching her how to Zentangle!! It was a very exciting moment. I started this tangle that evening and just finished it this afternoon. Didn't think I was going to like it, but I'm fairly pleased.Goal 1: Teach Dawn to Zentangle ☑

This is really nicely done - I like how the patterns give depth. Some sections definitely seem to be laying on top of others.
