A ...lily by any other name

Water color made mostly of color and not so much water ;)

I was crying 'cause I couldn't get my shadow to stick. Besides, I wasn't crying.

An oil pastel that I made as a friend's Christmas present (but I haven't actually given it to his yet so ssshhh...).

Keep an Eye on it

An acrylic lizard with a rad eye!

Little Girl in a Big World

Multi media project where we had to come up with a brand new concept and execute it. I liked the idea of a girl in a prom dress seeing herself in a mirror as something else.

Itsy Bitsy Teensy Weensy Little Froggy

There's this song that we used to sing at Awana on special nights:
Itsy bitsy teensy weensy little froggie (repeat)
Likes to eat those teensy weensy bugs and spideys (repeat)
Hop, hop, hop, hop froggie hop (repeat)
Hop, hop, hop, hop froggie hop (repeat)
Ribbit, ribbit, ribbit yuuummm...(repeat)

Indian Wedding

It's called a 24 square. Well, mine's a 20 square.....
Half the squares are done in graphite, half in colored pencil.

Iowa? I could've sworn this was heaven.

Water color "scenes of Iowa" project.

Hoo's there?

Batik: A process of dying fabric in which you soak the material in melted wax, where you want it to stay that current color. Then you dip in dye (in stages of light to dark).

Isn't he cute? I have a thing for owls. Owls and elephants are my favorites.
